Jackson Memorial Foundation Golden Angels Gala This Weekend

News | January 24, 2013

Over the years, The Golden Angels Gala has become the most anticipated and outstanding ball in Miami. Over 1,000 guests from the South Florida community who support the Jackson Health System attend every year.  Tables start at  $7,000 but typically go for $25,000.

The annual Jackson Memorial Foundation Golden Angels Gala will be held this year at the J.W. Marriot Marquis on Saturday, January 26th. The event honors Golden Angel Society donors who have helped to make Jackson Memorial Hospital the leading hospital in Miami. Past honorees in attendances include Commissioner Bruno Barreiro, Congressman Mario Diaz Balart, Ken Gorin, President of The Collection, Laurie Jennings, main anchor of Local 10 News, and Mayor of Miami-Dade, Carlos Gimenez.

The 2013 Golden Angels Gala will feature entertainment, dinner, and a live and silent auction. All proceeds from the event will go towards the Women’s Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Last year, Ken Gorin of The Collection donated an Audi A6 for a raffle item that raised $75,000.
