Haute Winter Getaway: Chefs’ Holiday Series Kicks Off In Yosemite

Star chefs, world-class food and wine all in the comfort of the lavish Ahwahnee lodge in Yosemite – Winter getaways don’t get better than this.

The Ahwahnee, the National Historic Landmark in Yosemite National Park will host its 28th annual Chefs’ Holidays series from January 6 – 31, 2013. Beginning this weekend, 25 Chefs and culinary experts from New York to Los Angeles convene to share their talent, expertise and cuisine with guests.

Creativity and excellence will come together in country’s most breathtaking natural setting of The Ahwahnee.  Chefs’ Holidays presents prominent American chefs and culinary professionals from New York to Los Angeles over a series of eight sessions.  For each session guests are invited to enjoy a “Meet the Chefs” reception, three educational cooking demonstrations and tastings, a behind-the-scenes kitchen tour and a five-course Gala Dinner prepared by the chefs and paired with four wines, served by candlelight in The Ahwahnee’s Dining Room.  Take a look at the Haute details below.
