Haute 100 Update Miami: Dolphins Owner Stephen Ross Commits To Spend $200 Million On Sun Life Stadium

Owner of Miami Dolphins, Stephen Ross, has announced today that he is more than ready to commit to a private-public partnership, and pay $200 million in proposed improvements to Sun Life Stadium here in Miami, Florida. The other $200 million are to come from non-local revenue streams, such as tourist taxes. The stadium is overdue for improvements as it was scheduled for work before the Florida Marlins baseball stadium gobbled up funds.

Renovations would be complete by the 2015 football season and would feature HD video screens, HD sports lighting, more comfortable seating, new seating eighteen feet closer to the field, modernized escalators and elevators, updated concession, and an open-air canopy similar to the Florida Marlins stadium that shields fans and preserves the grass…  To Read Complete Story, Click Here.
