Haute 100 Update: Alicia Keys To Perform National Anthem Before Super Bowl XLVII

News | January 21, 2013

Fourteen-time Grammy-award winning singer-songwriter Alicia Keys will sing the national anthem before the Baltimore Ravens face off against the San Francisco 49ers during Super Bowl XLVII on Feb. 3.

The Super Bowl remains the most-watched television program in history — more than 111.3 million US viewers tuned in for last year’s game. This will mark the third time the 31-year-old musician has performed at the highly-televised event, the most by any celebrity to date. Keys sang “America the Beautiful” along with 150 students from the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind prior to Super Bowl XXXIX in Jacksonville on Feb. 6, 2005 and then returned to perform as part of the Super Bowl XLII Pregame Show in Arizona on Feb. 3, 2008.
