Haute 100 Miami Update: Mickey Arison and Miami HEAT Honored at the White House

The entire HEAT team, including Coach Erik Spoelstra and owner Micky Arison, were honored yesterday by President Obama at the White House for their 2012 NBA Championship win. As part of the tradition for championship-winning American sports teams, President Obama welcomed the reigning NBA champs to his humble abode and congratulated them on not only their work on the court, but their role off the court as well.

President Obama thanked the team for their time spent with the wounded warriors at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and mentioned specifically the big three, LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh, for taking their roles as fathers seriously and for sending a positive message.
