Feast on New England-Style Cuisine While Sailing Around Manhattan

Kelli Farwell, a veteran of Gramercy Tavern, Rye, Dumont and Craft, is opening a floating restaurant/bar in Manhattan called The Water Table. The tug boat (pictured above) will sail around the East River twice nightly, serving classic cocktails and a menu of New England-influenced cuisine.

“The idea to create The Water Table was because I really was missing my New England roots and wanted to sort of tie together that aspect of my history with all of the work I’ve put in in the restaurant industry,” Farwell explained in an online video.

The boat is currently docked in St. Joseph, Michigan, but Farwell plans to bring it back to NYC in the coming weeks and launch the restaurant this summer.
