The Sundance Diaries Day 5: Celebrity Gifting, Park City Style
Ask and ye shall receive, especially if you’re a celebrity at the Sundance Film Festival. Everyone from Naomi Watts to James Franco to Oscar winner Octavia Spencer picked up freebies in Park City.
Watts and Franco were selective about their goodies, choosing only to be gifted by Samsung at their exclusive VIP suite at Village at the Lift.
Oscar nominee Shailene Woodley was spotted at the TR Suites, as was Oscar winner Octavia Spencer, who took home a Sean John jacket. AnnaLynne McCord was seen getting her nails done by Covergirl, who provided quick beauty fixes for the ladies of Sundance, while Mario Lopez and wife Courtney Mazza grabbed some DNA Monster headphones.
Woodley was all spotted at the New Era Chalet at Village at the Lift, as was Glee star Jane Lynch and her family and San Francisco Giants player Brian Wilson, who showed support for the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks by picking up a cap with their logo.
Adrian Grenier, Allison Janney, Jack Huston, Jennifer Coolidge, Joey Lauren Adams, Megan Mullally, Paris Hilton, Ricky Whittle, Trieste Dunn, and Shah’s of Sunset’s Golnesa ‘GG’ Gharachedaghi and Mercedes Javid, Mekhi Phifer and Jesse Williams were all spotted at the Miami Suites, picking up gear from Carlo Pazolini, Disaronno, Rudsak and Johnny Was. Guests enjoyed live broadcasting from Sirius XM & Rotten Tomatoes as well as a live DJ performance by Danny Masterson, also known in the industry as DJ Mom Jeans.
Over at Oakley’s Learn to Ride, Alessandra Ambrosio set tongues wagging as she slipped into something more comfortable – snowboard gear. She was accompanied by husband Jamie Mazur, who also got outfitted in Oakley before hitting the slopes with pro boarder Danny Kass.
And last but not least was a suite in the name of charity. The Rally.org lounge, held at the new Park City location of LA hotspot Rock & Reilly’s, took photos raising awareness for causes like Malaria No More and Feeding America’s Story of Hungry all week and did a reverse swag drive to benefit Jon Bon Jovi‘s Soul Foundation in support of Hurricane Sandy victims.
Keri Russell was seen relaxing with a beer at a dinner for her upcoming film Austenland at the space’s VIP Siren Lounge.
Toy Story couple and comedic spouses Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman were also spotted at the True Religion, fresh and Activate-sponsored space, as were Dakota Fanning, January Jones, Elizabeth Olsen and Jane Seymour.
