Bethenny Frankel’s Ex Fights for Primary Custody of Daughter Bryn
Reality star Bethenny Frankel is gearing up for an ugly divorce battle. The 42-year-old Skinny Girl creator recently learned that her estranged ex Jason Hoppy is filing for primary custody of the couple’s 2-year-old daughter, Bryn.
Frankel announced the split two days before Christmas, saying, “It brings me great sadness to say that Jason and I are separating. This was an extremely difficult decision that as a woman and a mother, I have to accept as the best choice for our family.”
In addition to requesting full custody, Hoppy responded to Frankel’s divorce petition by demanding that the wealthy entrepreneur pay his and Bryn’s medical and dental insurance and any other related expenses, reports TMZ. Hoppy has also requested that Frankel maintains a life insurance policy that would make both he and his daughter beneficiaries. Frankel had previously issued the same requests. Hoppy is also seeking “exclusive use and occupancy of the marital residence” and asking Frankel to pay his legal and accounting fees throughout the divorce proceedings.
Bethenny has recently been spotted spending time with her billionaire pal Warren Lichtenstein, while Hoppy continues to live in the $5 million martial home.
