Antonio Banderas Chats About Soccer, Skiing and His Love for Aspen
Actor Antonio Banderas was in Aspen over the holidays to spend time with his family and host a benefit for the Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Club. On Sunday, he chatted with Aspen 82’s Brandon Blocker about ski racing, “Puss in Boots” and his love for the town.
“The first time I put skis on, I was 40 years old already so my skiing is limited already, ok? … I suppose I am very competitive. I suppose that in my 52 years, you know, that is a good sign–to stay a little bit young inside and when I compete that passion–that passion is still there inside me,” Banderas tells the station, about being competitive during AVSC’s Ajax Cup.
