A Look Inside Mariah Carey’s Luxury Shoe Paradise
With a closet as impressive as Mariah Carey‘s, getting dressed in the morning is more like going on a luxury shopping spree. The clothes in the singer’s Mario Buatta–designed dressing area are meticulously organized by color and type and displayed with an “open viewing arrangement.” An adjoining “shoe room” contains many of the 1,000 pairs of shoes she claims to own, reports Racked.
And of course, the pop princess personalized the to-die-for boudoir by emblazoning gold-leaf designs and the letter “M” into the the bleachwood floor. “As you can see, it’s not really a traditional closet,” Carey previously revealed during an episode of MTV’s Cribs, “but I worked hard for this mess.”
