Susan Sarandon and Andre Balazs Open SPiN at the Standard

Susan Sarandon’s kitschy and cool ping pong club has finally arrived in LA.

The Oscar winner and André Balazs hosted the grand opening of SPiN Standard on Tuesday evening at the Standard Downtown.

VIP’s partnered up to play ping pong while  Olympic players gave guests a true showcase of their professional table tennis expertise.

Those who chose not to play pong caught a DJ set from Jake Shears of the Scissor Sisters and Amanda de Cadenet’s daughter, Atlanta and sipped on chilled flutes of Chandon.

Attendees included Sarandon, Balazs and girlfriend Chelsea Handler, Topher Grace, Vincent Gallo, Eva Amurri, Emily Mortimer, Amanda de Cadenet, Jacqui Getty, Gia Coppola, Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte, Monique Péan, Doug Ellin, Jay Duplass, Keegan Allen, Alessandra Balazs, Whitney Cummings, Melissa Etheridge, Nikki Haskell, Will Shortz, and Olympian Erica Wu.
