Celebrity Photographers Markus & Indrani Celebrate New Exhibition and Book Launch

The celebrity and fashion photography duo, Markus and Indrani, celebrated the international release of their first photography book, ICONS, with a VIP red-carpet cocktail event at Lincoln Center on Dec. 11. Several prominent New Yorkers stopped by to check out the pair’s 30-piece photo exhibition featuring Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Jay Z, Kanye West, David Bowie, Iman, Will Smith, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Eva Mendez, Kate Winslet and Kelly Rippa.

New York Fashion Week creator Fern Mallis (who also wrote the book’s forward) and actresses Karen Biehl, Tammy Blanchard and Sean Young were spotted admiring the dynamic pop cultural images.

“It is truly an honor to partner with this world-renowned cultural and arts-centered institution to showcase our work,” Markus Klinko said in a recent interview. “This exhibit and book are the result of countless narrative-driving collaborations to bring out what makes each artist extraordinary,” added Indrani Pal-Chaudhuri.
