Renowned architect Carlos Ott has signed on to work with developer Property Markets Group to design two new luxury properties in South Florida, the 190-unit ECHO building in Aventura and the 24-unit Sage Beach in Hollywood.
Carlos Ott is known for his work on Paris’ Bastille Opera, and Biz Journal reports New York City-based Property Markets Group (PMG) CEO Kevin Maloney hired Ott to “differentiate his condominium from the multitude of luxury product on the market.” Interior designers Yabu Pushelberg have been hired for ECHO’s 2, 3 and four-bedroom units, which will feature “kitchens on each terrace, a private elevator and come equipped with Apple technology enabling the user to control services using Apple products like an iPad”.
Ryan Shear, a partner of the ECHO project, has indicated that PMG is pricing the units less than $1,000 per square foot and units will range from 1,600 to 4,000 square feet, with “an average square foot price of $550”.
According to ECHO’s website, the residences come custom designed and fully outfitted with hand selected flooring, lighting packages, 10’ ceilings slab-to-slab with floor to ceiling windows, breakfast nooks, private service suites with bathroom, and more. There will be 18 penthouse units with private rooftop terraces and plunge pools, and building services include 24-hour concierge and valet, complimentary pet walking service and poolside food and beverage.
At Hollywood’s Sage Beach, condos will range from 2,000 to 2,850 square feet and be priced in the $600 per square foot range.
According to Sage Beach’s website, condo features include private elevators to each unit, “designer ready” residences with flooring and lighting pre-installed, prewired for high tech security, advanced technology and TV customization, subzero wine cellar, panoramic ocean views, oversized vessel soaking tub, custom designed Italian cabinets and Miele concealed dishwasher with Fisher dish drawer. There will be six distinctive penthouse units with pools and private roof top terraces. Building amenities include a beachfront infinity pool, private pool side cabanas, lush tropical landscape 24/7 security and valet, private covered parking and more.
