Alexander Mijares’ Art Basel Debut
Alexander Mijares, a Miami-based artist debuted during Art Basel with an amazing private exhibit. Mijares started painting about a year ago and has already gone on to become a leading artist in shows around the country. A reception on The Lawn at W South Beach Hotel & Residences followed the showcase, featuring 12 never before seen works by the flourishing artist and sculpture. Collaborations with artists El Pez and Kenor, along with Desire Obtain Cherish showcased pieces that attracted more than 500 Basel-enthusiasts. VIP guests included Scott Braun, Justin Beiber’s manager, interior designer Antonio Cabrera, and street artist Mr. Brainwash.
