The Philharmonia Orchestra Comes To Chicago
For fans of the arts, specifically fans of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, they have a huge treat for you tonight. If you don’t have any plans, I would highly suggest making your way to the Symphony Center (220 S. Michigan Ave). Returning to Chicago for the first time in 55 years, the Philharmonia Orchestra will be performing tonight.
The Philharmonia Orchestra is regarded as one of the United Kingdom’s foremost musical pioneers. Known for its amazing quality of music and well-earned legacy, this is truly a treat for Chicago Symphony fans. I would recommend all the husbands surprise your wife with this beautiful musical surprise tonight, earn some brownie points before the holidays. Led by conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen, the program will feature Beethoven’s upbeat Second Symphony and Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique, Op. 14. It starts at 8pm tonight (11/7), you can find seats here.
