A planned residential building that will stand849 feel above Miami’s Brickell Avenue has just been officially named: Panorama Tower. Designed by Kobi Karp, the building will be located at 1101 Brickell Avenue.

According to Miami Curbed, the building was planned prior to the recession, but like many buildings this tower was put on hold over the past few years. However, plans for the newly named Panorama Tower have redeveloped and according to ExMiami.org, construction is set to begin at the end of 2012.

Tibor Hollo, President of Florida East Coast Realty told the Miami Today News, “We’re looking forward to the project. We should begin construction at the end of the year.” Estimates have been made on how much the building could cost, and they are somewhere in the range of $500-$600 million.
