On November 17, the Museum of Contemporary Art will host its sixth rendition of the Mystery Dates fundraiser to benefit MOCA’s exhibition of experimental and emerging artists.

Known as one of Miami’s hottest fundraising events for young patrons of the arts, MOCA’s Mystery Dates is hosted by the Shakers, the museum’s membership group, and will include a cocktail party with live music and the opportunity for guests to discover the “mystery” location of their dinner throughout Miami. According to MOCA, approximately 450 guests are sent to various luxury homes throughout the city where hosts open their doors in “celebration of Miami’s diverse and thriving cultural scene.”

The evening begins at MOCA (770 NE 125th Street in North Miami) with a cocktail party including hors d’oeuvres and Bombay Sapphire cocktails. There will also be a silent auction before guests depart for their mystery location. After the guests enjoy their dinner at hosts’ homes throughout Miami, attendees will rendezvous at The Shore Club.

Hosts for this year include: Joe Berg, Sam Burstyn and daughter Alana Burstyn, George Sanchez Calderone, Lizzie Dascal, Dawn Adels Fine, Barbara Herzberg, Mike Margulies, Dan Milewski and Nina Johnson-Milewski, Gloria and Sergio Leyva, Kathryn and Dan Mikesell, Dale and Richard Newberg, Katy and Dario Stoka and Billy Weisman.

Tickets to this year’s Mystery Dates cost $200 for non-members, $150 for Shaker members and $1,500 for a ten pack. Tickets can be purchased through the museum’s website or by calling 305-893-6211.
