While it’s always fun to watch who wins at the American Music Awards, let’s be honest: it’s far more fun to see who wears what.

This year the evening’s theme seemed to be pink, gold and metallic, as several starlets were spotted wearing this haute combination.

Favorite Female Country Artist Taylor Swift shone bright in a beaded Zuhair Murad minidress.

New Artist of the Year Carly Rae Jepsen looked lovely in an elegant Gomez Gracia.

While she merely attended the ceremony, Ginnifer Goodwin wowed in Oscar de la Renta.

Other pink and gold winners included Favorite Country Album winner Carrie Underwood, “Nashville” star Hayden Panettiere and one colorfully named star, Pink herself.
