Haute Event: DJ Ashba Celebrates his 40th Birthday at the Hard Rock Hotel

The Hard Rock Hotel and AEG Live presented Guns N’ Roses guitarist DJ Ashba with a custom-made birthday cake to ring in his 40th birthday on Saturday. He was completely surprised by the cake presentation and thanked everyone involved with the Appetite for Democracy residency for making his day special.

The three-tiered cake’s focal point was DJ Ashba’s legendary rocker top hat. The other layers were garnished with roses and guitars. Guns N’ Roses members Frank Ferrer (drums), Chris Pitman (keyboardist), Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (guitar), Dizzy Reed (keyboardist) and Tommy Stinson (bass) all joined the cake presentation to wish their band mate a happy birthday.
