Haute Event: Carla Pellegrino’s Meatball Spot Opens

Celebrity chef Carla Pellegrino of Top Chef fame celebrated the grand opening of the new Meatball Spot at Town Square Monday night with a VIP party showcasing delectable menu items.

Attendees sipped complimentary cocktails from the Las Vegas Distillery and took JELL-O shots while a DJ played top hits and mash-ups. Guests also took in the brand-new, 7,000-square-foot venue while they noshed on the new hot spot’s signature meatball sliders with spicy meat sauce, ‘Roman Style’ Ricotta cheese and sausage pizzas, as well as the famed Kitchen Sink Salad and small dessert bites, all courtesy of Pellegrino. Invitees enjoyed the cozy, Soho meets Malibu ambiance while mingling at the newest place to see and be seen in Sin City.

Guests in attendance included renowned chef and owner of Rick Moonen’s RM Seafood, Rick Moonen,  Stratosphere headliner Frankie Moreno, Tropicana Las Vegas headliner Murray Sawchuck and wife Chloe Crawford of Luxor’s “Fantasy.”
