Known for its health-oriented vegetarian and vegan specialties, Babette’s of East Hamptons is heading west to open up a new location in Los Angeles.

Long-established East Hampton restaurant, Babette’s, will soon open a new location in the Santa Monica neighborhood of Los Angeles, according to LA Eater. There are no reports yet about when or exactly where the restaurant will open, but Babette’s, which has been in the same space on Newtown Lane in East Hampton for more than a decade, will soon be heading west.

Offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, Babette’s menu includes vegetarian and vegan options, such as a tofu scramble, an Asian chicken salad and buccatini primavera.

Babette’s website notes that it is an “eclectic, cutting edge restaurant, whose menu delights herbivores, carnivores and vegans alike.” Using organic, local and seasonal ingredients, Babette’s has a firm commitment to sustainability and supporting farmers and growers who “do the right thing”. In addition to their menu items, Babette’s also has an upscale juice bar and full liquor bar serving “knock your head off fresh squeezed blood Mary’s,” according to Zagat, seasonal smoothies and cleansing juices.
