Haute Event: Dree Hemingway Attends the Cinema Society’s Screening of “Starlet”

On Friday, November 2, 2012, guests gathered together at The Lambs Club in New York City to celebrate the special screening of Starlet with an after party. The star-studded event included special guests like Stella Maeva, Blake Ashman-Kipervase, Andrew Saffir, Epatha Merkerson, Heather Matarazzo and of course, Dree Hemingway, who has a leading role in the new film.

Hemingway, 24, plays the role of a young girl who explores an unusual friendship with an eighty something year-old woman. The beautiful star is no stranger to the limelight, with her success as a model and being the daughter of actress Mariel Hemingway of Star 80.

Startlet was directed and co-written by Sean Baker. The film will open on Friday in Los Angeles and set to play the AFI Fest today. With much success in the modeling industry and a breakout role in Starlet, we look forward to great things for Hemingway.
