Christian Eiroa to Open Cigar Factory in Miami’s Wynwood District

Christian Eiroa will open a new cigar factory in Miami’s Wynwood arts warehouse district. The Wynwood Cigar Factory will roll cigars on a small scale using rollers trained in Honduras.
According to Cigar Aficionado, Christian Eiroa, former president of Camacho Cigars and head of CLE Cigar Co., will open a new cigar factory in Miami’s Wynwood district. Owned in partnership with Robert Caldwell, Wynwood Cigar Factory will staff 10 rollers, all of whom were trained in Honduras and offer milder cigars featuring a rainbow band.
Though Miami’s Calle Ocho is commonly known as the cigar area of the city, Eiroa’s decision to open his new venture in Wynwood mirrors the area’s growing popularity and development. Developed by the late Tony Goldman, who passed away in September, Wynwood is an artistic area of Miami featuring graffiti on buildings often encouraged by owners.
When Eiora formed CLE Cigar Co., his long-term plan was to offer several cigar brands made in various countries. Eiroa’s father, Julio, grows in the Jamastran Valley of Honduras.
