On November 16, the JW Marriott Marquis Miami will host BeLive 2012: A Philanthropic Night for Colombia, one of South Florida’s most exciting galas, to celebrate BeLive’s 6th anniversary.

The star-studded evening will be filled with Colombian culture, one-of-a-kind emerald jewelry, a runway fashion show by designer Nicolas Felizola, a private concert by Gilberto Santa Rosa and the presentation of the 2012 BeLive Award to one of Colombia’s heroes, Catalina Escobar. BeLive has raised over $3 million in the past five years and brought together four prominent Colombian non-profit organizations, Give to Colombia, Formula Sonrisa, Genesis Foundation and ArtNexus Foundation. BeLive brings these charitable organizations together to change and aid the lives of some of Colombia’s most vulnerable communities.

To celebrate the BeLive organization’s 6th anniversary, the gala will begin at 7 p.m. and include music, fashion, jewelry and two silent auctions including the Project Emerald Initiative and one featuring exclusive pieces of a unique collection from Artesanias de Colombia.

Felix Sabates, Chip Ganassi, Jimmy Johnson, Danica Patrick, Juan Pablo Montoya and Brian Vickers will be joined by 600 influential business, art, political and philanthropic personalities from around the world.
