TNDC Celebrity Pool Toss -An Evening of Wild, Wet and Wacky Fun

Rewind to 20 years ago – the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation (TNDC) Pool Toss began as a fun, crazy, kooky event bringing together celebrities from far and wide to support a good cause.

20 years later, some things don’t change.

This year’s TNDC Celebrity Pool Toss was filled with wet, wild and wacky fun benefitting TNDC’s programs for children and their families in the Tenderloin.

This year’s TNDC Celebrity Pool Toss was co-hosted by Lynne Marie Stewart, actor/writer best known as Ms. Yvonne of “Pee-wee’s Playhouse”; and Tori Ritchie, cookbook author and blogger at TuesdayRecipe.com.

Tosees (as they liked to be called) included  Todd Traina, Film Producer and Founder, Red Rover Films; John Stewart, Chairman, The John Stewart Company and Jack Gardner, President and CEO, The John Stewart Company, among many others.

Emcees included…drumroll please….the gorgeous Jason Lewis from Sex and the City; Harry Denton from Harry Denton’s Starlight Room, and Cheryl Jennings, anchor at ABC7, among many others.

During all the pool-tossing action, guests enjoyed music, nibbles and poolside libations – the signature drink of the evening was aptly named, “The Late Checkout”.
