Lacoste Unveils Highly-Anticipated Miami Flagship Store
This week, Lacoste officially unveiled its highly-anticipated Miami Flagship store on Lincoln Road with a grand opening party that fêted the city’s unique flavor, complete with real live, crocodiles!
Industry tastemakers & trendsetters (including Lacoste CEO Steve Birkhold, publisher Courtland Lantaff and TV personality Jonathan Cheban) sipped on “croc-tails” by Stoli and snapped shots in the Miami-themed photo booth. With one of Lacoste’s embroiderers on-site, guests had the opportunity to monogram their classic polos. Those with a sweet tooth filled their goody bags at a special green candy bar after checking out artist Trong Nguyen’s interactive mixed media exhibit, which simulated a fan-boat ride for guests in the store’s exhibition space (one lucky raffle winner will get a real airboat tour through the Everglades). Nguyen created the piece as an homage to the Everglades Foundation, a non-profit Lacoste is working with in honor of the brand’s new South Florida presence. In addition to their ongoing support of the Everglades Foundation, Lacoste donated fifty percent of proceeds from the evening’s sales to the group.
The Lacoste Miami Flagship Store is located at 1026 Lincoln Road in Miami. For hours and more information about the Lacoste Miami flagship store, please visit their website. All photos courtesy Lacoste; copyright Rodrigo Gaya/WorldRedEye and Matt Root/WorldRedEye.
