Judy Garland’s Original Dress from ‘Wizard of Oz’ Up for Auction
As of next month, the Dorothy dress also known as Judy Garland’s original costume from “The Wizard of Oz” will be up for auction, according to celebrity auctioneer Darren Julien.
“The Wizard of Oz” was first released in 1939 with a star-studded cast that wore some of the most creative designed costumes, especially Judy Garland’s blue gingham dress and white puff-sleeved blouse.
The costume will be on auction at Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hill, Calif. from Nov. 9-10. Prior to the auction the Dorothy dress can be viewed on Nov.5-9 at London’s Stafford Hotel.
