Drew Barrymore Welcomes Baby Daughter Olive to World
On Sept. 26, the actress Drew Barrymore and her husband Will Kopelman have welcomed to the world their first child, a baby girl named Olive Barrymore Kopelman in Los Angeles.
“We are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Olive Barrymore Kopelman, born September 26th, healthy, happy and welcomed by the whole family,” the couple released in a statement. “Thank you for respecting our privacy during this most special time in our lives.”
Back in 2010, the 37-year-old actress and art consultant Kopelman, 35, started romantically dating which led up to their January engagement. On June 2, the happy couple made it official and got married at Barrymore’s California estate in Montecito.
“Everyone knows the baby’s coming, so there wasn’t much talk about it,” according to source. “Will said something like, ‘I’m excited to marry you. I’m excited to meet the newest member of our family.”
Barrymore is looking forward to having multiple children with her husband, as she revealed to Jay Leno on The Tonight Show.
