The Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Installation Luncheon

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association made a whopping donation of over $1.2 million to entertainment-related charities, foundations and scholarships programs at their annual luncheon on August 9.

HFPA president Dr. Aida Takla-O’Reilly first welcomed friends and guests to the event, which took place inside the Beverly Hills Hotel’s ballroom, before a slew of celebrities took the stage to announce 2012’s grant recipients.

Bradley Cooper kicked off the presentation with some assistance from Steven Spielberg, Jennifer Lawrence, John Travolta,Dustin Hoffman, Kelsey Grammer, Jack Black, Kerry Washington, Christina Hendricks, Carla Gugino, Don Johnson and Ryan Guzman.

Takla-O’Reilly also introduced the new HFPA officers and board members, who now include: Vice President Jorge Camara, Treasurer Ali Sar and Chairman Ruben Nepales.
