Lydia Hearst Latest Heiress to Try her Hand at Acting
Heiress to the Hearst publishing fortune, model-turned actress and daughter of Patty Hearst and Bernard Shaw, Lydia Hearst has landed her first big Hollywood role in the upcoming horror prequel Cabin Fever: Patient Zero alongside Gillian Murray, Ryan Donowho and Mitch Ryan.
Lydia Hearst is not the only heiress to enter the movie industry. Socialite Paris Hilton, heiress to the Hilton Hotel fortune, starred in the 2005 film House of Wax, the 2004 film Raising Helen and has appeared in numerous television shows and films including Veronica Mars, George Lopez, Las Vegas, The Dog Who Saved Christmas Vacation and Supernatural.
Hearst has previously appeared in the CW’s Gossip Girl, the Indies The Last International Playboy, and Two Jacks. Shooting for her upcoming movie role will begin mid-October in the Dominican Republic.
In Cabin Fever, Hearst will play a “wide-eyed research grad student who is aligned with the film’s antagonist.
