Kendall Jenner’s Modeling Career Heats Up with Haute New Photoshoot

In an effort to carve her own path in the world, Kendall Jenner is breaking free from the reality TV world and showing the world she has what it takes to be a successful model.

Her new photoshoot with Genlux magazine has been released and Jenner, 16, is quickly emerging as not only her own person apart from her famous family, but also as a model in the fashion industry. The eldest daughter of former decathlon Olympian Bruce and realty star Kris Jenner, the young fashionista signed with Wilhelmina agency two years ago at the ripe age of 14.

Blessed with a 5ft 11in frame, Jenner is featured in the latest Genlux magazine in a spread that was designed to introduce her as a “cut above the rest” with a slogan that reads, “My name is Kendall. Kendall Jenner. I am NOT a Kardashian.”

Genlux’s creative director, Stephen Kamifuji, noted that the tag line was meant to create a separation between Jenner as a model and Jenner as a reality show celebrity.

“The concept behind the headline is simple. Kendall is a lovely model with a great future. We were excited to feature her on our cover and in this eight-page fashion feature based solely on her beauty and stature – but also wanted to keep some distance from the reality television show. We feel the truthful statement achieves this,” he said.

In one of the images Jenner is seen in a Wes Gordon gold velvet top that retails for $1,650, a slip skirt that is around $500 and in another she has a Bowie black lace overlay gown that retails for $3,000.

Jenner also stormed the catwalk during New York Fashion week for Sherri Hill.
