Hilary Swank Lists Pacific Palisades Home for $9,496,000

Oscar-winning actress Hilary Swank has listed her gated Mediterranean-style Pacific Palisades estate for $9,495,000. The listing comes just five years after Swank purchased the home for $5.8 million.

The three-story mansion features 6,722 square feet of living space, six bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms, a surround-sound theater, a wine cellar, a gym, maid’s quarters and a dining room that can accommodate 20 guests.

Situated on one-third of an acre, the property also has a pool, a spa, a fire pit, an outdoor dining area and ocean views.

Born in Lincoln, Nebraska, Swank grew up in a trailer park in Bellingham, Washington. She moved to Los Angeles when she was 16-years-old to become an actress and reportedly lived out a car until she could afford an apartment. Best known for her roles in Boys Don’t Cry and Million Dollar Baby, Swank’s first movie role was in the 1992 film Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
