The Bridge Hotel in Boca Raton has been purchased in a joint venture of Winston Harton Holdings, LLC and August Group Ventures, LLC (AGV) in partnership with The Lane Organization, LLC and is scheduled for major renovation. The waterfront boutique hotel is located on the Intracoastal Waterway and features panoramic views from every guest room.
Despite the change in ownership, the Bridge Hotel will reportedly remain one of Boca Raton’s most notable hotels, but the changes will mean it can be repositioned and transformed to be more relevant for today’s discerning vacationers and social and business guests. The hotel will receive entirely new hospitality and dining concepts, expanded waterfront amenities, a new dock flanking the Lake Boca perimeter so guests can choose to arrive by boat and extensive guestroom, restaurant and public space renovations as of spring 2013.
According to Flicker, one of many principals and senior management of the joint venture and partnership, “We are very excited to add the Bridge Hotel to our collection of repositioned luxury hotel properties. Our past experience in Boca Raton was extremely positive; we are passionate about the market and its assets, and very much look forward to our seasoned team of designers and consultants completely transforming the hotel into a premier South Florida experience with its own newly positioned distinctive signature in the destination.”
Lane Hospitality (not related to The Lane Organization) has been awarded the hotel management contract. President and CEO of Lane Hospitality Bill DeForrest said, “The Bridge Hotel property complements our operational and repositioning experience with independent hotels and resorts. Working with the ownership team we will ensure a successful repositioning that will benefit the greater Boca Raton community and local tourism industry as well as deliver a profitable return to its ownership. The Bridge Hotel is an established community icon with a longtime history of serving as the locals’ favorite ‘guesthouse’ for visiting friends, family and colleagues.
