Zooey Deschanel, Bon Iver Makes Hits for The Silver Lake Chorus

Since February 2010, The Silver Lake Chorus has been as a group of LA Eastsiders  who have been bringing to the indie music scene some of the most joyful blends of choral arrangements the world has ever seen, but according their website, their debut album is getting set to knock music lovers off their feet with the big musical names behind their brand new tracks.

Names like Tegan and Sara, Jon Brion, Beck, Zooey Deschanel, Sia, Of Montreal, The New Pornographers, Aimee Mann, Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) The Bird and the Bee will grace their debut album making it pretty impressive.

For those who might not be familiar with TSLC, you might notice their vocals from Andy Samberg and Akron’s The Lonely Island single “I Just Had Sex” and the “MacGruber” theme song. On September 18, The Silver Lake Chorus will self-release their Wreckage EP, produced by rocker Ben Lee.
