Valentino: Master of Couture Exhibit in London

London’s Somerset House will be hosting a Valentino exhibition in November entitled Valentino: Master of Couture. Showcasing more than 130 Valentino creations, the exhibit will explore the Italian designer’s 50-year career.

Included in the exhibit will be Jackie O’s 1968 wedding dress, Julia Robert’s 2001 Academy Awards vintage black-and-white gown and more.

According to Valentino, “Each of these designs has a beautiful story. The atelier crafted each so diligently by hand, taking hours, sometimes days to complete. The details are incredibly intricate. Though outside the runway shows and events, the dresses have rarely been seen. To be able to showcase these designs at Somerset House, where they can be seen in great detail by the public, is very unique.”

Valentino: Master of Couture will run from November 29 through March 3.
