What do you get when you add celebrities, VIPs, a little bubbly and philanthropy?

One fabulous gala.

For the 18th year, the Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation (REAF) hosted Help is On the Way, Northern California’s largest annual AIDS benefit concert event featuring stars from Broadway, film, television, and the recording industry as well as the best of Bay Area talent.

The all-star benefit is REAF’s flagship event and Northern California’s largest annual AIDS benefit concert.  The three-part gala held at the iconic Herbst Theatre featured a pre-performance VIP reception, all-star performance with live-auction, and post-performance champagne and dessert receptions with cast and crew.

Guests enjoyed an amazing range of heart-felt performances, from light-hearted cheeky to the classics. Stars from far and wide showed their support, including Carol Cook (42nd Street, Radio Gals), Kimberley Locke (American Idol), Helen Reddy (Grammy Award-winning recording artist), the iconic Carole Cook (42nd Street, Radio Gals), the cast of Les Misérables among many more.

Gala beneficiaries included the AIDS Housing Alliance, AIDS Legal Referral Panel, Maitri Compassionate Care and the Positive Resource Center.
