Haute Event: The Rock ‘n Blues Fest Takes Over the Pearl at the Palms
On Sunday night at the Pearl at the Palms, the Rock ‘n Blues Fest took over the room as acts including the Johnny Winter Band, Edgar Winter, Rick Derringer and Kim Simmonds rocked the house. At one point in the night, Edgar Winter took the microphone to sing happy birthday to fellow tour-mate Rick Derringer.
This was the second show over the weekend that served as the kick off to the second half of the 2012 concert season at the Pearl. Upcoming shows include Wednesday’s Beck concert and a performance by YES on Aug. 19.
