Haute Beauty Exclusive: The True Story Behind John Mayer’s New Haircut
When John Mayer stepped out to friend Mindy Kaling’s party at Skybar over the weekend, all eyes were on his head — and his newly cut ‘do.
But, contrary to popular opinion, the singer didn’t cut his long locks as a result of ‘breaking up’ with pop star Katy Perry, but because he was ready for a change.
Thus, the “Your Body is a Wonderland” crooner stopped by stylist Sally Hershberger’s Los Angeles salon on Friday before displaying his head to the world.
“I was was thinking the night before that I wanted to cut his hair off, and when John came into the salon that is exactly what he wanted to do without me saying a word,” Hershberger tells Haute Living. “We have a flow that just works.”
