Sean Parker, the brains behind Napster, is struggling to gain ground with his new video-calling application, Airtime.  With its mission to make video connection more common, the new app gives users a video platform to call Facebook friends or connect with unknown Facebook users based upon shared interests.
Parker launched the company with partner Shawn Fanning in June of this year. Despite the star-studded launch that included Jimmy Fallon, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Joel McHale and Alicia Keys, the application has lost 10,000 monthly active users in the last seven days.
Airtime has been likened to better-designed, better-funded version of (the now defunct) Chatroulette, the briefly-popular website for chatting with strangers.
