Haute 100 NY Update: Harvey Weinstein, Georgina Chapman, Anna Wintour Throw Obama Dinner
A trio of Haute100 listers gathered in Connecticut last night to toast, and raise money for, President Barack Obama. Indie film titan Harvey Weinstein and his wife, Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman, opened up their Westport home to a guest list that would surely send a Fox News anchor into an apoplectic frenzy. Vogue editor Anna Wintour, who has recently refashioned herself into a lead Democrat party fundraising force, hosted the evening with politically charged screenwriter Aaron Sorkin.
