News | August 13, 2012

On August 10, Gigi Grazer celebrated the release of her new book, The After Wife, the author’s fifth publication. The event was held at the Southampton estate of the author’s friend, the entrepreneur Christopher Burch.

Burch’s $9 million spread on First Neck Lane provided a stunning backdrop for the soiree, where guests mingled amidst the home’s beautiful 60s decor. Guests included business magnate Russell Simmons, architect Campion Platt and his wife Tatiana, actress Michael Michele, editor Jennifer Crandall of the Washington Post, restaurateur Richie Notar and his entertainment reporter wife Jane, fashion journalist Kate Betts, and WNYW news anchor Rosanna Scotto. Party-goers sipped Grey Goose cocktails by the pool while they were treated to astrological readings by the famous AstroTwins, Ophira and Tali Edut.

The After Wife follows in the mold of the New York Times bestselling author’s previous works, which were also loosely based on the author’s own fascinating life. Grazer’s novel The Starter Wife received popular acclaim and was developed into a movie starring Julia Roberts and Susan Sarandon. The After Wife, published by Random House, is available in bookstores now.
