Fashion’s Night Out 2012 will be taking place next Thursday, September 6th across Los Anegels and a number of events are planned to mark the occasion, including many block parties.
Numerous block parties will be held in conjunction with Fashion’s Night Out in Los Angeles next week, including many one-stop outdoor events that include a laser show on Robertson.
On Robertson Blvd. there will be a roped-off street party with music by Mayer Hawthorne, a laser show and boutique events inside Kitson’s store (from 6-10 p.m.). There will also be free tarot readings at Christian Louboutin from 6-8 pm. and a “Kill the Night” comic book gift with purchase from 3.1 Philip Lim from 6-9 p.m.
Over at La Brea Ave there will be plenty of food trucks parked between 1st and 2nd streets, live music and a $100 giveaway for the person who takes the best FNO photo (and tweets it to @DistrictLaBrea) at La Brea’s participating retailers. There will also be in-store events such as a “What Goes Around Comes Around” trunk show and Blind Barber drinks at Unis from 6-11 p.m.
For those on Melrose Avenue, Diane von Furstenberg will have cocktails paired with complimentary styling sessions from 6-10 p.m., Helmut Lang will offer guests live music, gourmet bites and themed drinks from 6-11 p.m. and Kelly Wearstler will offer free NCLA nail art designs inspired by her fall collection from 6 -10 p.m. Over at Vivienne Westwood, there will be a t-shirt giveaway for anyone who spends $250.
Abbot Kinney will feature additional boutique parties, including Heist’s annual “Gold Rush” party, where guests can trade in their gold and silver cast-offs for cash to be used in store. Mona Moore will debut a new installed named “Ideal Woman” by Los Angeles artist Allie Poh and GANT Rugger will serve beverages and offer a chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree.
Party-goers on West 3rd Street can stop by Madison to customize their own LNA t-shirt or enjoy a “T-Party” at Trink Turk in honor of the brand’s English Eccentric collection.
