Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi Make A Cool Million on Brad Pitt’s Former Malibu Mansion

News | August 29, 2012

Recently, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi made a pretty good sale of their Malibu home at $13 million. The couple purchased the Malibu home from Brad Pitt back in December 2011 for $12 million, making a profit $1 million, after selling their Beverly Hills home back in December to Ryan Seacrest for $37.5 million.

This is the very same home that was once featured in Architectural Digest and was purchased by former owner Brad Pitt in 2005, after a very public split from Jennifer Aniston for $8.41 million.

According to Zillow, the breath-taking Malibu mansion features four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a kitchen filled with stainless steel appliances, a tennis court, pool, modern architecture, and an acre of landscape, all on 1.26 acres with 4,088 square feet of living space.

DeGeneres and de Rossi may have sold Brad Pitts’ home, but they couldn’t be more happier with their decision, in fact, they currently purchased a new Beverly Hills home from Hollywood producer Robert Cort for $17.4 million.
