Wyclef Jean Playing Along Hudson River Fireworks Tomorrow

News | July 3, 2012

Former Fugee and Haitian presidential candidate Wyclef Jean will headline a 12-hour live music extravaganza at The Waterfront @ Pier 92 tomorrow that will offer prime sight lines for the big fireworks show on the Hudson. Lil Jon (formerly of the East Side Boyz, a group you’ve undoubtedly heard thanks to the 2002 single “Get Low”) will also perform. If the artists don’t appeal to you, the concert location at 52nd Street and 12th Avenue should: public access to the river will be exceptionally tight during this year’s Macy’s pyrotechnics. $55 general admission tickets are still on sale, as are 10-person “Magnum Cabana” VIP packages going for $6,250.
