Rimowa Bash Celebrates JU52 Aircraft at Van Nuys
This past Wednesday night was certainly one to remember. Many stars gathered at the Van Nuys Airport courtesy of Rimowa CEO Dieter Morszeck to help celebrate “the flying suitcase” also known as JU52 aircraft.
The star-studded guest list included: actor Chris Hensworth, designer Jenni Kayne, Aaron Paul, Marisa Tomei, actor Danny Masterson and celebrity stylist Ilaria Urbinati, not to mention guests enjoyed a live performance by L.A. singer Nicole Simone prior to having dinner.
The memorable night also featured a 40-minute flight tour of LA, despite that many knew their way around LA, but enjoyed the view above even more on the ‘50s-themed JU52 and the fact the aircraft was inspired by something that’s been around for over 100 years, Rimowa’s original “luggage with the grooves,” was an added bonus.
