On My Desk: Jeff Defranco of the Mob Attraction

Ever wonder what the most powerful leaders, business execs and celebrities keep on their desks? Well, we’re about to tell you. Our biweekly “On My Desk” feature will take a look inside the offices and at the desks of the world’s most influential power players.

Here we have the desk is Jeff Defranco, the general manager of the Mob Attraction at the Tropicana Las Vegas.

A look across the desk shows women’s panties that say, “I’d tap that,” in reference to wiretapping.

Mob Bears find random homes, a gift you can find in the shop that memorializes the mobsters of Vegas.

But most interestingly, a Tommy gun. “The gun was used in the attraction, but it kept disappearing and actors were hiding it so they could use it for their character,” a spokesperson says. “Jeff had to confiscate it to keep the peace. Now it has permanent  home on his desk. It only comes out for photo shoots and special events now.”
