House Beautiful's Kitchen of the Year Displayed in Manhattan's Rockefeller Center
Despite more than 95 degree heat in the city of Manhattan, House Beautiful's Kitchen of the Year display held up in Rockefeller Center until Friday.
House Beautiful’s annual Kitchen of the Year award was unveiled mid-month, and its display miraculously stood in Rockefeller Center for days despite temperatures rising to more than 95 degrees in Manhattan.
Chicago-based designer Mick De Giulio, who designed the space meant for indoor and outdoor use, said, “Kitchens can get very complicated. I wanted to keep this simple and classic. It’s also a little bit glamorous.”
