Haute Event: John Varvatos Hosts Glenn Hughes' Autobiography Party

When John Varvatos hosts an event, it’s only natural that he would do so in style.

The haute designer threw a party for Deep Purple vocalist and bassist Glenn Hughes at his Malibu Country Mart boutique on Saturday.

The fete was in celebration of Hughes’ autobiography, “From Deep Purple to Black Country Communion.”

The event drew a slew of fashionable males, including Patrick Dempsey, Josh Henderson, Dean McDermott and Ben Silverman, as well as David Charvet and wife Brooke Burke.

Hughes also treated the assembled guests at the Patron-sponsored event to a private afternoon performance.
