First Louis Vuitton Maison Unveiled in Shanghai

July 19 marked the start of something great for the people of Shanghai and of course the luxury brand Louis Vuitton. It was the grand opening of the Louis Vuitton Express at Plaza 66 in Shanghai, making this the very first Louis Vuitton Maison in Shanghai, adding on to the elegance and style of the designer. Plus this newest Maison marks its 16^th worldwide.

Under one roof, the Louis Vuitton Maison was cleverly designed by architect Peter Marino, making quite an experience for guests with custom made furniture, new design elements and specially commissioned artworks by Chinese and international contemporary artists. The four floored Maison features luggage, jewelry, watches, leather goods, women and men ready-to-wear fashion for a true Louis Vuitton experience.

The very opening day of the Louis Vuitton Express in Shangai featured models emerging out of carriages, wearing elegant layers of clothing embellished with jewels, along with signature handbags, suitcases and portmanteaux, in celebration of the fashion house’s love of travel, creativity and its history of elegance.
