With the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT replacing the SLS AMG, it's getting a lot more features than two extra letters added to its name.
The 2013 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT is the replacement SLS AMG, and along with the extra letters to its name, it got a power boost as well as tweaked transmission and suspension systems. The interior also got an update and new trim options.
The 6.3-liter V8 was updated with internal dethrottling measures along with an increase in combustion pressure, which increases the horsepower by 20, totaling 583 horsepower. The 0 to 60 mph drops from 3.7 to 3.6 seconds, and the top speed is electronically capped at 197 mph.
